My wife and I enjoyed a particularly romantic two-night stay, surrounded by the charming decor and rich history of this lovingly restored home. Tim and Jacqi, the delightful owners, bring their luxurious hospitality background to every detail, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Their flair in the kitchen is evident in the hearty breakfasts, each dish expertly prepared with fresh, local produce that tantalizes the taste buds. A morning chat over a perfectly cooked meal is worth waking up for! The location is simply perfect, allowing easy access to Akaroa's scenic attractions, making it a breeze for outdoor enthusiasts like ourselves. After a day of exploring, we enjoyed relaxing moments in the sun terrace, a glass of wine in hand, as we listened to the birds serenading us from the nearby trees. With room amenities that include crisp white sheets, fluffy towels, and organic toiletries, every comfort is accounted for. French Bay House is not just a place to stay; it's a home away from home where you will feel pampered and rejuvenated. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming B&B to anyone travelling through New Zealand.
